Social House - Las Vegas, Nevada: Tucked away, almost hidden is the entrance to Social House at *Treasure Island Casino in Las Vegas. You need to be paying attention to find Social House otherwise; you are going to miss a bombastic experience.

The ordinary entrance does not give you any indication of the extraordinary experience you are about to have when you dine at Social House.

We were lucky enough to secure a table on at Social House for a late dinner on a Friday night. We ended up at almost the very back of the restaurant but that actually turned out good because it was a little less busy and we met some great people. The restaurant is large and seems to go on forever. The front and middle parts of the restaurant seemed to be livelier and was almost a beehive of action, so sitting in the back gave us a chance to savor and enjoy the best sushi in Las Vegas.

The décor is chic and trendy with beautiful hardwood floors, dark tables and chairs, and lighting that sets the mood to pure class and style.

Social House's menu is as extensive as you can get at a sushi restaurant with a great selection of sushi and rolls including my favorites; Unagi Cucumber, Shrimp and Spicy Tuna Battera Roll and Freshwater Eel, Cream Cheese and Avocado Topped with Unagi Sauce.

The cold dishes included Seared Kobe, Tuna Tataki Spicy Ponzo and Smoked Salmon Dip with Taro Chips and the hot dishes included Five Spice Chicken Wings, Five Spice Calamari, Citrus Peel Miso Cod and Panko Crab Cake.

Everything we had was extremely fresh and perfectly prepared; and talking about perfection; service as fast, professional, warm and welcoming, the service was perfect. From suggesting dishes or the perfect wine to compliment dinner, we could not have asked for anything better.

Social House at Treasure Island is a top-notch, chic and trendy place for dinner whether you are a sushi lover or just learning your way around a sushi restaurant. There is something for everyone and the staff will make sure you have a great experience.

Reservations are highly recommended.

*UPDATE -- Social House Sushi Restaurant has moved to Crystals (the mall) at City Center. Bombastic Life has not dined there yet, but from the little we saw of the new venue, I can't wait until we do!
